Polyurethane as a wheel tread
Polyurethane (PUR) is widely used as a tread material for wheels and casters. PUR has elastic properties and is very robust. The material's robustness makes it ideal for casters and wheels that have to carry a heavy load.
Polyurethane makes a floor-friendly tread that is elastic, abrasion-resistant and also extremely resistant to many elements. Treads made of PUR are characterized by low rolling resistance and therefore provide excellent operating comfort. Polyurethane is not the preferred solution for particularly high or low temperatures. In these conditions, the load capacity may be reduced and the hardness increased.

Polyurethane wheel treads
Polyurethane is a floor-friendly tread that is elastic, abrasion-resistant and exceptionally resistant to many substances. In addition, PUR treads are characterised by a low rolling resistance and thus high driving comfort. At particularly high or low temperatures, however, polyurethane is not the preferred solution. In this case it is possible that the load carrying capacity decreases and the rigidity increases.
