Properties of the rubber tires
Rubber tires, also known as solid rubber tires, are made of different elastomers and are available in different versions, for example cylindrical or conical.
Properties of the rubber tires
Tires made of elastic solid rubber are characterized by their high load capacity, outstanding drive comfort and ease of operation. At the same time, they are very abrasion-resistant and thus gentle to floors. Since the tires have no profile, they pick up fewer foreign bodies and debris. They have comparatively less cushioning, which is why they are best used on flat, even floors. The rubber is temperature resistant from -20°C to +85°C and therefore suitable for many applications. The load-bearing capacity of rubber tires is tested according to DIN EN 12532 at a speed of 4 km/h or according to DIN EN 12533 at a speed of 6 km/h.
Rubber tires can be produced with different dimensions and, if required, as a tailored special solution. We are happy to be of assistance in developing your specific mobility solution!
